We catch moods, emotions, and attitudes from other people. Which is why it’s important when possible to surround yourself with people and situations that inspire you rather than constantly drain you. Optimism is more than just “seeing the good.” It’s about being realistic about conditions or situations but understanding that nothing lasts forever. Bad moods and situations end. And, this happens faster if we can try to see things from a broader, larger perspective. Our planet and all its lifeforms is pretty tiny when seen from another galaxy. Now consider the importance or non-importance of “problems.” Our problems do matter, but probably not as much as we think they do.
