Race Cancelled: Now What?

I get asked how to stay motivated when races have been cancelled or seem likely to be cancelled. Especially right now, you have to see your “purpose” as larger than a single race. For me, the desire to stay healthy and strong enough to face “anything” has always spurred me on to stay in shape and challenge my limits. Another motivating factor is that I figure if I’m able to keep training and doing the hard work right now, I’ll be that much more ahead of my competitors when things return to normal.
