Overthink = Never Start

Personally, one of the best ways for me to quickly ruin my day is to overthink my workout plans. The second guessing of the most “optimal” way to approach a task can be paralyzing. I always have a “plan” but that plan has to be adjusted based on any number of factors on a given day including how I’m feeling, the weather, what I need to work on, and what’s happening over the next few days. When I hit moments of “?????” and can’t decide, I have to always remember the basics:  show up, do at least 20 minutes of the planned workout before deciding whether something needs to change, and no matter how the workout goes, find something that I learned, that went well, or that I saw that made me smile.
