Vacation Food Rules

If you are typically pretty regimented about how you eat, vacation can provide an excuse to drink and eat foods you rarely consume. As much as possible, follow the 80/20 rule: 80 percent of the time eat healthy, 20 percent of the time, eat whatever you want. In fact, this is probably the most realistic plan to follow whether you are home or away!

Rather than thinking of vacation as a vacation from being “healthy”, think of it as an opportunity to relax some of your “rules” but make sure you do continue habits that will keep your body feeling good. No one wants to feel bloated, or have stomach issues due to extra greasy or too much food while on vacation.
