What you say to yourself can affect EVERYTHING. Self-talk is powerful. The running commentary in your head can help or harm your self-image. If you tell yourself repeatedly that you are “weak”, “ugly” or “not good at _____”, you will live up to these ideas. Your subconscious doesn’t know the difference between truth and fiction: it believes what it hears COMPLETELY. If you find yourself doubting or criticizing yourself: STOP. Like a 5 year old child, parts of your mind are listening to your thoughts and will behave as if they are truth.
