Meal Plans for Vacation

  • Plan fruits and vegetables first, nutrient packed grains and starches next, and lastly, lean or plant sources of protein.  Even though protein is important, it should only occupy ¼ of your plate!
  • Think in terms of clean up and easy prep, like bagged salads, grilled corn on the cob, etc…
  • While grilling is popular, you can also use the grill as an oven and cook things like lasagna or even pizza outdoors
