Personal trainers hear this all the time, “I have no will power or discipline!!” As a coach, I think people have tons of willpower or discipline IF they view the goal and the process of reaching it in the right way. Goals HAVE to be things that truly fit what WE value, not what others value or what we think we SHOULD do. There’s a big difference between deciding to eat well and exercise so you’ll be around longer to enjoy your family, and deciding that you SHOULD lose weight because of how you appear to others. Make sure your mindset is geared toward becoming a better you by trying and learning new things rather than attempting to please others.
